Cohabitation and Prenuptial Agreements

Whilst consultation has been taking place and moves made to put couples who cohabit on an equal footing with those who are married or have entered into civil partnerships the reality remains that those who cohabit do not have the same rights and responsibilities. This can be particularly noticeable when it comes to resolving financial matters following separation. An agreement entered into between the parties could carry weight should separation occur.
